Synkro uses a “reactive” syncing method, meaning it only syncs inventory when a change occurs, and only for the item that was updated. When stores are first connected, they may not be in sync initially. While future inventory changes will sync in real time, it's often necessary to perform a full inventory sync between stores when you first set up Synkro.
Please contact Synkro customer support to request a full inventory sync and specify which store should be used as the reference store. Once the one-time full sync is complete, Synkro will keep all future inventory changes synced in real time.
Synkro syncs inventory between products which share the same SKU (or barcode, if in barcode-syncing mode) between connected stores and within the same store. If you are seeing an unexpected inventory change being made by Synkro, it is usually due to another product within your store that has the same SKU as the changed product. Often, merchants have duplicate SKUs within their store which they are not aware of.
Try searching your Shopify store for other products which share the same SKU and assign a unique SKU to the product to ensure it doesn’t continue to sync with the reference product again in the future.
